This summer lawn fertilizer can help your lawn build tougher, stronger, deeper roots, promoting the growth of drought tolerant grass. Additionally, the lawn insect control provides a strong deterrent against a wide range of pests, including ants, armyworms, chinch bugs, crickets, fleas, grasshoppers, spiders, and ticks.
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
How to Use
- For best results, use this summer lawn fertilizer on your lawn during the summer months.
- Apply it to dry grass before watering it in thoroughly.
- Use a Scotts spreader for the best results in drought tolerant grass and lawn insect control.
- Scotts® broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 3 ¾.
- Scotts® drop spreaders, use a setting of 8 ½.
- Scotts® Elite spreader, use a setting of 5.
- Water product in following application.
- Avoid using any other weed or lawn insect control products for at least a week after applying Scotts SummerGuard.
- One 13.35 lb. bag of Scotts® Turf Builder® SummerGuard® Lawn Food with Insect Control covers 5,000 sq. ft.
